Terms of service
The simple terms for using ScannerQR.
Last updated June 1, 2026
By using ScannerQR, you agree to these terms. We have kept them short and plain.
Free to use
ScannerQR is provided free of charge for personal and commercial use. QR codes you generate are yours — there are no watermarks, royalties or usage limits.
Acceptable use
- Do not use our tools to create or distribute codes that link to malicious, illegal, or fraudulent content.
- Do not attempt to disrupt, overload or reverse-engineer the service for harmful purposes.
- You are responsible for the content you encode and for verifying any code before sharing it.
No warranty
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. While we strive for accurate decoding and reliable generation, we cannot guarantee that every code will scan correctly on every device or that every scan result is safe to act on. Always verify important codes.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ScannerQR is not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service, including damages resulting from following a link contained in a scanned code.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
